Thanks for my house

I always have a Thanksblogging post about being thankful for my house. And I am! I have been so grateful to have had a cozy and affordable place to live for our entire marriage. I love to be home. I love coming home. Our current house is finally starting to feel like home after a year.

If I’m totally honest, I’m a little worried about the future of the housing market where I live, if the blustering promises about gutting the federal workforce turn out to be true… if major changes do happen and jobs move out of this area, the local economy could either eventually or suddenly take a big hit.

But I am hoping that it turns out to be bluster after all and that our local economy, public school system, job market and housing market will all stay stable. Here goes nothin’.
