Saturday night’s alright for flooding

So... all previously empty space in the family room is currently filled with the furniture from the office.

That’s because the office...

...flooded a wee bit last night. It was my fault. I’m mad at myself about it. Nothing else I can do now though, other than try not to forget about the sprinkler when I am watering plants, and also call a bunch of contractors tomorrow to see what we need to do next about the floor and the wall and the window well.

Nothing got ruined except the carpet (which needed to be replaced anyway, but I had figured we’d wait to do that until we sold this place eventually) which I am very grateful for. Phew. What a mess though.
