I have no idea who took this picture or what was happening. I am very much enjoying this stage of life, despite the hard parts (and there are lots of hard parts). 4 kids aged 4-12 means there is still magic and giggling and fun, and there are still BIG messes and a TON of laundry, but there’s also independence in most things, and intelligent conversations, and movies for family movie night that I am actually interested in watching. It’s nice. I’m living in the moment and the moment is good.
