Mom

Happy Mothers Day!

I just thought of a memory of several years ago when a friend was at my house to pick up her young daughter, who had been over playing with Theo. This friend's twin babies had recently been born prematurely and died. When I had told my mom about her, she had said she'd like to make her an apron. She mailed it to me and I gave it to Jenny that afternoon. After she opened it and I told her my mom had made it and sent it, Jenny said, "I have to ask: is your mom the best?" I said, "Yes! She is!" and she said, "So is mine. My mom would totally do something like this. Isn't it great to have the best mom?"

Here are a few past posts about my mom (and mothers in general) in case you'd like to reminisce with me on Bloggery Lane.

Hey Mom: thanks for having me.

Ah, that is a really sweet memory. Your mom sounds amazing, just like mine. We are lucky girls.
