I thought that during this holiday season you might enjoy a Christmas song written by a Jewish man and a Hanukkah song written by a Mormon man.
I wanted to embed "A Cherry Cherry Christmas," Neil's latest, but I can't find it anywhere on video. So instead you can go here to stream it for free. Have a very merry, Cherry Cherry Christmas--a Holly Holy rock'n'rolly Christmas. (the whole year long.)
And let's see if you can get "Eight Days of Hanukkah" out of your head after just one listen. Go on, try!

At the Christmas concert at school today, Mr. Gottstein sang a similar Hanukkah song with the Troubadors.
This is a lively tune - I wonder why he wrote it?
I love it. Thanks for embedding it, and thanks for commenting on Abby's blog, so I could remember to come here and read your blog. I forget to read private blogs, but I do loving reading yours.
