I have some felted wool balls (fancy pom poms I guess) that little Eliza (not that you're big) really likes to play with, though I can't say they've never spent time in her mouth. Whoops
I did see all those pictures. But babies grow fast! I know that second children sometimes don't get as many pics taken but I remember way more pictures of Theo in the early months.
I'm not being critical, I promise. It's just that Robbie and I need pictures to fill vacancies due to our lack of children.

A baby and a toddler pose all kinds of issues like this.
Sometimes it works if you do stuff "high up" but there's always the chance of it falling to the floor.
