Thought you might enjoy seeing the pretty whitish-greenish roses Matt bought yesterday. I guess they look white in the picture, but they are whitish-greenish. (Don't think MHS Homecoming, think sage.) Traci mentioned on her blog how having flowers makes her want to keep the room clean, and I can attest. After putting these in a vase yesterday, I looked all around my room for a good spot . . . couldn't find one.
I didn't want them to sit in squalor, so I took 20 minutes of my life and cleaned the whole room (this mostly involved throwing away random papers and hanging up clothes). And now I have a clean room AND a vase of whitish-greenish roses. A good way to start out the weekend, I think.

Beautiful flowers - I love them too - not that your dad brings me them all that often - he's more of a plant person - or a book person - which is fine, I do a good job of buying my own flowers.
But they do add a certain panache to a room, a desk, a table. And they say a lot about a person. These are classy Matt, no baby's breath - Eliza - or maybe your mom - has taught you well!
I LOVE flowers - I try to buy them every week or so - they definitely brighten up my house.
I feel like less of a dork knowing that other people my age clean on Saturdays. My roommates seem to avoid cleaning like the plague.
I'm not as good at cleaning on Saturdays as I should be. But I do generally try to have my bedroom and bathroom clean by Saturday night. It makes for a nicer Sunday.
