Dun-dun-dun-na-DUN . . . (That's me humming the first line of the L&O theme song in case you wondered)
I cancel my subscription to Entertainment Weekly and all of a sudden I'm way out of the loop when it comes to who's going to get murdered and who's going to get "relieved of their duties."
(and on to the eerie saxophone portion of the song)
I suppose I should get TiVO. With summer on I don't remember what time it is and we are too busy outside and so I miss whatever I was going to watch. Or maybe I should just give up on TV altogether...
There's definitely no reason to get TiVo if you're having fun outside. People watch TV because it's easier than expending the effort to do anything else. (At least, that's why I watch it.) If I didn't have the option I'd be just fine. Although it is fun to TiVo movies for later viewing, which I do often.
I really am looking forward to summer. My favorite thing to do last summer (besides take trips to California) was to go to the pool after work to swim and read. I love it when it's hot enough to stay there until the pool closes at 8.
I'm here! I LOVE L&O, but have not been keeping up on it this season. I know, I am shocked as well. I think I'll watch the DVD this fall. I have heard that things are getting exciting on SVU as well. That Olivia.
I don't watch SVU anymore...it gives me nightmares.
I guess it goes without saying that nobody here watches The O.C., unless Nicole still reads this. Well anyway, now that Marissa's dead I don't know if I'll be watching anymore, especially with that obnoxious Caitlin and Taylor...not that I watched it that often anyway. I did hear Anna's coming back, which should make for a good time.
By the time the fall TV season starts Matt and I will probably be living in a hole somewhere with no room for a TV anyway.
Alexandra (ADA) was murdered. She's the actress who looks like Julia Roberts who plays lots of supporting roles in movies (not Monica Potter, but the other one. Can't remember her name).
And, Jack (DA) was so upset about it that he bent the law a little to get murder charges for the guys who did it. And he got in big trouble.
BTW, turns out I'm not that observant when it comes to TV tunes. L&O was just on and what I initially thought was a saxophone is actually an oboe...or something like that. Maybe a recorder. I have no idea. Anyway it's not a saxophone.

And now Marissa Cooper is dead. Sheesh.
I'm so glad it's summer now. I really need to turn off the TV.
Noah's a real L and O fan so I end up watching snatches of it now and then. It's pretty good for a tv show - but not like St. Elsewhere or M*A*S*H!
i really need to watch law and order - at least a few times, so i know the characters.
same with alias, and west wing.

Giving up is a good idea - you can always watch all the reruns in 10 years when you're on vacation by yourself!!

How come Phoebe isn't in on this conversation yet?

Yay, "Nicole" reference.
Man, I stopped watching The O.C. a very long time ago. It got WAY too lame - so I moved on to the next best thing: One Tree Hill (OTH).
Ok, so what happened on LAW AND ORDER? I sporatically watch that show but cling to SVU (MUCH better). But really, who died?
