I like libraries and archives and old, cool stuff that people keep.
I also like listening to music and interviews. I also like the Library of Congress, and I also like lists, and I also like Songs in the Key of Life.
Among other things.
So, I like this: The LOC just announced its National Recording Registry selections for 2005, which you can view here. View the entire list here (lists are in chronological order by recording date).
What do you like?

I like Sgt. Pepper. I like Bix Beiderbecke and Frankie Trumbauer. I like Barber's "Adagio for Strings." I like Dave Brubeck (memories of Justin's birthday video, Eliza?). I like most of this list.
i love libraries as well - i haven't clicked on the link yet, but i'll get there.
I have a 45 rpm recording of Fats Domino singing "Blueberry Hill." They were passed out as favors at my 6th grade elementary school graduation dance.
Others on the list are personal faves too - it's good to have ones excellent taste validated.
DEFINITELY "Oh Happy Day" - Every choir teacher I had at school made us sing that. And I enjoyed it.
