Camera roll roulette

Package from my mom containing (1) See’s butter eggs and (2) a book for kids about the Selma-Montgomery march.

Drawing from Polly, “if I could fly anywhere I would go to Paris.” See the Eiffel Tower?

My bestie and I realized we didn’t have any photos of the two of us. ZERO. This is shameful. Criminal really. Although more accurately, it’s indicative of the fact that we first became friends when we each had three young kids, and now we each have four young kids. Regardless of the inconvenience and awkwardness of forcing photos, I want dozens and hundreds photos of me with everyone I love in my life. I want old photos with haircuts and clothes we can laugh at, and I want new photos too. Is there a photo of you and me, taken in the last 5 years? If not, can we please remedy that.

Very common view these days. We’re on book 6 ❤️

In 2002, I wrote in my journal the track list of these tapes called Cruisin’ Classics (available at a Shell station near you... in the early 90s anyway) that my siblings and I loved, and the other day I took a photo of that journal page. And I feel that everything about that sentence tells you volumes about my personality and life and values... (also: my sister Hannah made Spotify playlists of these tapes. Hmu if you need the link mmkay?)

Doonesbury from a few weeks ago. Just sayin’ 👀

And, John Brown. Just for funsies.

I have noticed over the years that there have been many people who had a real impact in my life - and I not only don't have a photo of them with me, I don't even have a photo of them!!

I have also been thinking about how I don’t have enough photos of me with people I love, including my husband!
