Tonight during a family discussion about... I can’t remember what... something to do with jobs... Ida announced “When I grow up and get a job, I don’t want to have a boss. I want to be the boss.”
We told her she’s probably going to have to have a few bosses before she can be the boss, but that being the boss is a super attainable goal for her. Ida is so smart, thoughtful, well-read, eloquent, observant, strong-willed, persistent, funny, kind, self-motivated, and likable, that I am entirely sure that she will be the boss one day. I am so thankful for Ida.
