I go way back with ICAN. (International Cesarean Awareness Network) I went to my first meeting in 2008 and I’ve stayed connected ever since. I learned a lot after having my C-section, and I did have to forgive myself for not knowing it all already. I’m thankful for the birth community and the C-section community, for the online and in-person relationships and conversations over the years, associations that have blessed my life for sure.

I admire your dedication to this cause - I feel blessed that I never had to make the choice - because there really was not much information given out back then!
