Thanks for the Sabbath School.

That post title is for Hannah’s benefit (if she’s reading) since she’s the only other person I know who knows the names of obscure hymns.

I’m thankful for Sundays. I’ve had some rough ones this year, but I’ve figured out a routine. It will be nice to switch to 8:30 am in January (well, sort of. I still like afternoon church best) and not only because we’ll have 2-hour church now instead of 3. Even though I prefer late church, a change is as good as a rest, and I like that things change in our church. Maybe some things change more slowly than others, but change happens, and I’m glad. And I’m glad to have one special day every week that’s just different from the other days. And sometimes it’s even restful. :)

I am looking forward to the new year - although it will still be at 9 a.m. - as always!
