I’m not sure whether writing this all down has helped me be a better steward of my media time. I do want to put more books on these lists. At first, I wrote one- or two-word reviews, about whether I liked the movie/show/book or hated it or thought it was worthwhile. Then I switched to just recording what it was.
Some shows I watched in their entirety. Others, for example Mrs. Maisel, I gave the college try but ultimately abandoned, usually because of crassness. Also, some of the movies are edited for TV, some not.
This certainly doesn’t include all the magazine and newspaper articles I read or the Instagram feeds I scrolled through. That’s a little too meta for me. At any rate: history!

I record the books I read - and the movies I see - and don't watch much tv so don't do that - for me it's so I can remember what I've seen and read - I have been known to buy a book I not only read but still owned!
