Last day of two

You may or may not know that I turned 35 last month. And Matt gave me a laptop for my birthday! So, after however many years of blogging on my phone and iPad, I can blog on a real live computer. (we have a desktop computer but it's in the basement and it's slow and those two things mean I'm very unlikely to use it.) I guess I'll see whether that means I will post any more than I have been. I guess I am just in that Sarah Prine mode of journaling where I write a ton, and then I write nothing for a long time.

Polly is turning 3 tomorrow. That sweet child is a tornado of moods but she is darling anyway. And... I am exhausted at the end of the day. And she refuses to stay in bed when I most need her to. She is SO MUCH like Ida was at that age. Lars was soooo much more easygoing than either of them. I think Theo was too, but that's way too long ago for me to remember for sure...

Three years ago today I was busy cleaning my house, mowing the lawn, making cookies, and getting the nest ready for that last baby. It actually does seem like three years ago. It seems like forever ago. I'm grateful that my life is passing so slowly in some ways. Because it sure flies by in other ways.
