On Thanksgiving night these lucky ducks went to their first ever NFL game
Possibly my favorite exchange from the show Modern Family:
Mitchell: “I never went to sports games with him.”
Cam: “Probably because you called them ‘sports games.’ Lose the ‘sports.’”
I like it because I feel that Mitchell’s anemic understanding of and tolerance for “sports games” rivals mine...
But I love that Matt and our kids love watching sports. And if it’s an exciting enough game, I love to watch with them too. (Generally only baseball.) Anyway, it’s a fun thing that they all like to do together and I love that. And I love lying on the couch reading a book while they do it.

A game has to be pretty exciting for me to watch it - but I love having everyone engaged so I can lie on the couch and read too!
