You probably know the saga of my births. My first birth was rough. Matt and I didn’t have enough help or knowledge to get through that experience without regrets. So with my second, third, and fourth pregnancies I went to the ends of the earth (basically) to find people to help me have the birth I wanted.
Every birth was different, and in the end they were out of my hands and into God’s, and I’m thankful for all of them. And I’m incredibly thankful for the many doctors, nurses, midwives, and doulas who helped us over the years. Polly’s is the most recent, so here (above) is a picture of me with the midwife, doula, and nurse who helped us through that crazy morning. They were all so great. What a wonderful day.

I wish I'd recorded something after the births of my children - because time makes it all a blur. But good help is essential!!
