Theo and I and Ida and I each have a notebook that we write notes to each other in. I got the idea from Pinterest (like so many of my household ideas) and it's one of my favorite things about having elementary-aged kids. Even flipping through notes from just the past few months, I find moments (good and bad) I had otherwise forgotten about. Love the notebooks.

They are a great idea - the back and forth keeps them real. Wish I'd had such an idea back in the day!
