Where the 2-year-old sleeps when we take a quick and busy trip to NYC: anywhere he can. As long as it's not at night when we actually want him to sleep.
On Dad's back while walking and subway-ing (headlessly)
Or sitting in a pew at church - note the hymnbook
Or after that REM cycle ends: lying across a pew at church.
(You can't see it but my strategically placed leg is keeping his leg from completely falling off the pew)
Or in the car on the drive home.
I feel I should apologize for taking photos at church. I was very surreptitious. Just felt compelled to document our most peaceful sacrament meeting in recent memory.

It is nice when they sleep through sacrament meeting. Too bad he didn't sleep at night though.
