I just love spring. I love St. Patrick's Day. I love...everyone.

If I close my eyes I can actually picture 10 years ago. I remember sleeping in, and sitting around, and being really late to work, and spending my precious extra cash on cheap clothes and fast food, and going to the dollar theater, and living in a 3rd-floor apartment where random boys and girls came in and out--or just came in and sat on the couch for hours--and watching old movies on the VCR on Sunday nights. I remember staying up all night writing papers, and crying over boys, and agonizing about The Future, and grocery shopping at Food4Less, and eating canned tuna every day.

Hey everyone. So basically I got nothing done this weekend, does that surprise anybody? Friday night I went out with Matt - dinner, Antwone Fisher. Saturday I got up early (10 a.m.!!), vacuumed the house, took out the trash, cleaned my room, the kitchen and the living room, went to work (late), worked until 5, sat on campus until 6:30, then went shopping! Wa hoo. Well, we went to Wendy’s for dinner first (me, Hester, Rebecca). Good times. Then we went to the mall and Old Navy. And Smith’s (grocery store). I got new jeans and 2 shirts (at Old Navy, not Smith’s).

So then I got home around 10, then later talked to Matt on the phone for like an hour and a half. Then Sunday was an exciting day - we had stake conference, so we got to sleep in a little. That was 11 to 1, then I just kinda hung out all afternoon with Mandy, Valerie, John (her fiancĂ©), Megan and Maren (neighbor). We watched Overboard (Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell), which I had never seen before but I’m a recent fan. I laughed so freaking hard. By the by, that link doesn't go straight to an Overboard site, it's just an 80s movie site. But it has Overboard on it. Here's another one if you want it. Then Matt came down around 6 and we went to a CES fireside at the Marriott Center. Then he came home with me and we sat and listened to Megan play the piano, haha. Which was fun. Then we watched Romeo and Juliet with John. Then Hester came over and hung out for awhile. Then everybody went home. (I’m not sure where Valerie was - John sometimes just comes over and hangs out in the living room while Valerie’s in the back somewhere. I think it’s kind of amusing.)

I’m starting to like Matt a lot. Don’t tell anyone. Haha. Seriously, my roommates are all so confused, because I never really talk about him, but he just kinda has been showing up the past few weeks. Driving down from Salt Lake and taking me out 2 or 3 times a week. You know what’s weird, though, is that I’m absolutely not worried about it anymore at all.

I want it to be spring. Well, I really want it to be summer, but spring’s closer. Less than 3 weeks! Actually, 2 weeks and 4 days; 18 days, to be exact. But who’s counting? Haha. Oh, I just love spring. I love St. Patrick’s Day. I love...everyone.

Music: Family Tree - Ben KwellerLove: a tuna, tomato and celery sandwich for lunch (what a coincidence! that's what I made for myself today!)

I totally remember watching Overboard that one time! "I just ate a bug!"

I also remember sitting in the front room with you and Matt while Megan sang opera in the shower and we all laughed...because it was funny. Oh Megan. To this day when Whitney starts a story with "So, Megan..." I smile and/or laugh. I love her!
