Annika is 8 today!
She shares her birthday with Harry Potter. I remember when she was born, I was working at an investment firm in Georgetown. I like saying it that way to make it sound like I was doing something important, but I was the temp receptionist for the summer and no one ever called or came to the front desk, so I pretty much read books and/or the Internet all day. Anyway I checked The Blogs constantly around the time of her arrival, and then she didn't have a name for a few days. Eventually Hannah christened her She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
Anyway. Annika is super awesome and I am super sad we will miss her baptism. But fortunately for us, we got to hang out with her a few weeks ago when we were staying at my parents' house and she came for her Grandma's Birthday Sleepover.
