That's what makes the world go round...(song from the kids' favorite movie, The Sword in the Stone)
Lars is full-on crawling everywhere and we are all loving it.
I didn't love it when he fell down the stairs this morning. Like, first thing in the morning. I put him down on the floor to play and put myself on the couch to rest. Didn't take into account that 30 seconds after I did that, one of the kids would open the basement door and forget to close it, and Lars would immediately go stair-diving. Knot in the pit of my stomach because it was completely my fault. I felt (and feel) so awful about it. Just writing about it makes me want to throw up. But he is fine. And the baby gate is back up for good.
After loading all these pictures I thought there was probably a more efficient and/or effective way to do it...say, a collage of sorts. But, that sounded too complicated especially after I had already done the photo dump.
Loving life today. Despite the scary stair fall. And despite a few very unglamorous motherhood moments which are too gross to share on a blog.

i enjoyed ida suddenly popping up in the closet doorway.
love this (except for the stairs part - so sad!). I think it would make an awesome .gif - you should look into it!
Babies learning to crawl are so fun!
Stairs and crawling babies not so nice. Glad he is ok.
Love Lars teeth! He and Ida look so cute. Glad the stair dive was not serious. I get my morning fix by looking at pictures of the kids every morning on your blog. Miss you all.
The crawling montage is charming - excited to see you soon!!
Ryan fell down the stairs at my parents' house when he was a little older then Lars. Like walking age. It basically happened in slow motion and I just about died. I still get all upset and want to cry thinking about it. He's no worse for the wear though. He doesn't have an irrational fear of stairs or anything. Good thing kids are so soft and pliable at that age!
