This album reminds me of moving into our new house.
Also it is a nice little break from Christmas music if you are tiring of it. (I actually am.)
I couldn't find a working mp3 of "California English," or the Auto-Tune song. Too bad it was that one instead of "Cousins" which is the only song on the record that I don't like.
I like this album more each time I hear it. So do my kids--yesterday in the car after "Giving up the Gun" ended I heard Ida sigh and whisper, "...I love that song."

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm getting tired of Christmas music and I love Christmas music. Just need a little break before the big day.
this album also totally reminds me of the summer. and paris, which is weird, because i don't think the album was out yet when we were there. haha.
also, only 3 songs are working for me. oh well.
It just came out this past spring or maybe end of winter.
I'm sorry you can't get the songs; they are working for me.
I can't get enough of "Diplomat's Son"...my favorite. (minus one questionable line near the end.)
