So being on vacation, I am a little behind the times. I knew there was this massive dumping of snow on the East Coast but was unclear on the details. If you don't live on the East Coast and haven't been following the weather, allow me to point out the "snow hole" in the mid-Atlantic on this image published yesterday.
We had a couple of inches of snow a few weeks ago and to be honest--it was great, the kids had fun playing in it, Matt spent a few minutes cleaning out the space around our car, and now I'm good until next winter! I know we'll get more snow eventually but I'd be totally fine if we didn't. I only speak the truth.

Well, we are having uncommonly large amounts of rain - and more is expected tonight.
I am tired of lining up bowls to catch all the drips in the family room!!
Totally agree. I hate winter. Also, I love that you knew I was talking about Alyson in my post. I guess if you knew she had a moonbounce then that sorta gave it away. But still. She voted for Bush the first time and I am pretty sure she went Obama in 08, so she is very middle of the road, left leaning. I think you would have quite a nice politalk.

I am here on the easy coast right now, just thought I'd look after it while you are gone. And it is awful! We were "snowed in" for a few days and the cabin fever abounded.
I'm waiting for the day we don't have to deal with the snow and the negative degree weather too. Hope you had fun in California!
