Empty as a pocket with nothing to lose.

I have been making a mental playlist of songs I can't help but dance to, and this one snuck in there...

Almost anything from Graceland might make it onto that list. This live version is quite entertaining to me (though they lost me at the end with the drum solo). I especially enjoy Ladysmith's dancing.

Found out yesterday that I have strep throat. Almost a relief actually, since at least I know I can fix it with an RX. Except even though I am technically no longer contagious I still feel kinda crummy. Meh. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm sorry about your throat. I hate being sick and a Mom worse then when I was sick and working. Not that being a Mom isn't working. I hope you feel better soon! I have a few days left before I will be of no help for a month or so, so if you need any help please let me know.

How about I love Paul Simon? My mom turned me onto Simon & Garfunkel first, thanks to her old records. (Cecillia might be my favorite. I love the beat.) Then my brother and I found Paul later. I used to have the Graceland tape.

U2, Paul Simon - what else will we agree on? Do you like Enya? Or have I already asked you that?

Graceland is definitely a classic!

I also love S&G and always liked "Cecelia" too. Great beat to stomp around the living room to. Funny story--when I was a kid we were forbidden to listen to it. Subject matter was too racy for my mom. I see her point. Still funny. :)

I do like Enya!

Funny you should share that story. I put Cecelia on a kids songs playlist, because it has a great beat, then I actually listened to the words and removed it. Evidently, your mom and I think alike. I don't want my kids getting any ideas...you know.
