You might think that being snowed in for days and days and days and days would give me lots of time to blog. However, although we are spending a lot of time at home, I am not blogging much. Nor am I doing much that anyone would call blogworthy. But in case you were wondering, we're all alive and bouncing off the walls, and here for you today are some pictures from my "Home Ideas" file.
As much as I cherish and enjoy the real life within my own four little walls, pictures of that would really not be as interesting right now, unless you prefer to see photos of baby dolls and Candy Land cards strewn across the floor, but then again maybe you do. Don't worry, reality will pop up again on this blog sooner or later.

And in that vein, I've been figuring out ways to get rid of stuff and simplify my life. Four people in 1200 square feet tend to pile up needless junk. Of course if we were in 2400 square feet we would still have the needless junk, it would just be better hidden. Check out this article about my brother-in-law's philosophy: "Building Small/Living Large." Inspiring. Definitely more inspiring than a picture of someone else's yellow tub. (As much as I do enjoy that.)
And, in case "You Might Think" wasn't in your head already from the post title, allow me to fix that:
Oh and one other thing, if you are not snowed in, please go outside and breathe some fresh air for us. Just a few gulps. Thanks!!

I love all of the home ideas, especially that comforter in picture# 1.
If you think of something fun to do, let me know. I'm about ready to make another volcano or perhaps throw in the towel.
I love the house you have conjured up!! I look at photos of some houses and think, "I'd love to live there."
It's probably not as great as I think it would be!! (I tell myself that anyway!)
hey! I like what you've done with the place!!
I'll go to the park for you today and send you the warm sunshine and 80 degree weather - and I'll throw in some fresh oranges to boot.
all the striped sheets i've been looking at are so expensive. otherwise that would be the next thing i'd go out and buy once the roads are drivable.
They're drivable in Fairfax...we went to Tysons this morning. Couldn't take one more day of staying inside, but it's a little too breezy and slushy (for me...plus the kids don't have good boots) to play outside.
Great room ideas! You inspired me to start my own collection. One day right?
Just saw Theo's birthday post on ohdeedoh. You are practically famous.
I keep getting updates from my mom about the snow out there...it sounds kinda crazy. I'll breathe in lots of fresh southern Utah air for you!
