Bored

My sick post was really over the top. At the time I was attempting to be funny but I think the fever must have gotten to my brain.

I am feeling better and there's no better reward for slogging through that kind of sickness, than sending my husband off to work and taking care of 2 sick children by myself. Just kiddin'. See, trying to joke, there goes that fever to my brain again. Actually Theo and Ida are both very good patients, considering. They don't seem to be have hit as hard as I was, or at least they're not taking it as hard.

Except, we are BORED. We are pretty much out of commission for the week and, having been inside most of the time without much human contact since Friday, yes, we are bored and it is only Tuesday. And we have only been without Matt since yesterday. I particularly am disappointed about all of the things I have had to cancel that we had planned this week. If you have any brilliant ideas of entertaining things to do that don't take very much exertion and we can do inside (besides watching movies or reading books), please do leave a comment!

Two things I can recommend that have been hits with my kids this past week are (1) pom-poms--literally hours of fun for all 3 of us, who knew?; and (2) painting. But we're ready for something new.

One of the nine (9) movies I watched last week was Little Women. When I am feeling annoyed/lacking perspective this week I think I am going to try to remember Beth and the Hummels. Remember them?

You are KILLING me! I watched Little Women this week as a well. I always bawl my eyes out when Beth gets well.

We clearly need pom-poms at our house.
