Like my flexing? Yeah, I basically beat Matt in an arm-wrestling match yesterday, not a big deal. Just kidding, he beat me, but the other way is a better story.
A few weeks ago I started to write a post about the Ragnar Relay and then I ran out of steam. I don't even know where that post is anymore. Not like it would be that hard to find. OK, I'll find it and post it. Sometime. But mostly I just wanted to post this because it is the only picture on my camera from the race. (well, one of a series of five that all look just like this one.) Yep, I'm that good at documenting.
Also I wanted you to know what I look like after 2 days of no sleep, also this is what I look like right before I go completely out of my mind, fall apart into about 3,000 pieces and yell at Matt for not having a hot dinner ready for me when I walked in the door. (I mean, didn't he have time to cook me dinner while he was chasing our kids around in the freezing cold rain in D.C., waiting for me to finish?)
Never mind the conspicuous dry spots on my shirt, that's really lovely. Also, FYI, I ran in the rain. That is rain, not sweat. OK, rain and sweat.
I'm so glad that race is over. When is my next one, you ask? NEVER! JK, it was fun hangin' with my girls. (meaning my friends) And I realized after 2 weeks of not running that I actually missed running. So I started back up again. Double stroller and all. Who knows what will come of that. Especially since it's getting so darn cold around these parts. But my kids are hardy, they can take it. The question is, can I take it?

I, for one, am impressed!!
I too am impressed.
And the conspicuous dry spots are pretty hilarious.
You rock.
I am TOTALLY impressed! It is freezing out there.
I have always thought Matt was a slacker. This just confirmed it:)
Your kids can take the cold - last winter I took Kathleen and Sophia out routinely when it was below 10 degrees - and they were usually warmer than I was by the end of the run. Just ignore the dirty looks everyone will give you (and budget in 20 more minutes for putting on warm clothing).
i'm glad keli said the dry spots comment first.
i like the blue nail polish.
I am impressed that your sport bra remained so dry in the rain, oh and that you aren't leaking because that would have made for a funny photo, you know nursing and all...was that inappropriate?
