To the Batmobile!

Not the studio shot I was thinking of. No, this one is much, much better.

It's definitely one of my regrets in life that I didn't keep better track of that Batman T-shirt. It's floating along somewhere in the world, being loved by someone, I hope. Or in someone's rag pile, or in someone's landfill. Maybe someday it will meet my long-lost green Weezer concert shirt and they can share memories of me.

The odds are probably about the same that the Ski Utah, Siamese Cat, and Rag-Doll Bunny shirts are still being worn somewhere.

What I love most about this photo is its timelessness. If I said summer of 1995, Kiddie Kandids, Fashion Place Mall in Murray, Utah, you totally wouldn't believe me, right?

Funny how you never realize what you wish you had kept. And then you wonder why you kept what you did!!

Two batman shirts in one photo . . . that is pretty fantastic!

I don't miss the Batman shirt enough to buy another one. However, I do miss the Weezer shirt. I haven't looked online in a while. Maybe Ebay will have one for me. Yes, I will look!

This totally made my day! I love it! Look how tiny were all were!

You want to know something a little embarrassing? I not only still have featured batman shirt (although extremely faded but very soft now) but actually wore it to bed two nights ago!

I love Batman. He has always been my favorite superhero. I don't know why I got rid of the shirt. Probably during one of my FlyLady moments. (moments I was having even back in high school, which was the last time I remember having the Batman shirt.)

Calvin is feeling very sad that you didn't keep the Batman shirt, too.

So hilarious. I was just thinking yesterday about this sort of clothing on kids and my conflict btwn dressing Andrew in cute outfits and allowing him to choose his own clothes. My sister bought him the tackiest Lightning McQueen bathing suit outfit ever. He adored it. Luckily it was 20x too big for him so I got to return it and buy cute little matching shark shirts and trunks for the boys. But I was thinking as I watched them prep it up at the pool whether I should just let them get the tacky toons stuff. Maybe someday it will look so vintage and funny and cute, and meanwhile he will get to swim with the confidence of all well-dressed 3 year old boy.

You know, I might not have ever regretted getting a plain Batman shirt, but I think that I regret the Siamese cat shirt choice. I think that this was right before Cosmo disappeared.

RIP, Cosmo.

I never regretted buying the Batman shirt, only tossing it.

We are Siamese if you please. Remember how Cosmo was way fatter than those cats or any Siamese cat ever?
