Ida sits up well on her own so we have started giving her "people food" now and then. I was going to wait until 6 months but I was excited to see how she would like it.

Bananas and toast to gnaw on; baby cereal and purees shoveled in with a spoon. The verdict: She likes it...kinda! Maybe not quite enough to merit the amount of work that it is to feed
all of us people food. Lunchtime can be a bit of a project. She has to learn sometime though, and she sure looks cute sitting in her little chair.

Why won't any of my children eat bananas? Why?
Ida looks so grown up in her chair!
She does indeed look cute in her chair.
Lots of people don't like bananas and I can't imagine why.
Maybe they got it from Aunt Debbie! lol
hmm, I don't know the Aunt Debbie story. Traumatized by bananas?
As we all know, Theo leaves the rest of us in the dust when it comes to banana consumption. But his record is still 6 in one morning (quite by accident if you recall!)
That bottom shot says it all!
Aunt Debbie hates bananas in any way shape or form. Even the smell of them.
And obviously she's not a blood relation - it was a joke - but when you have to explain, I guess it's not.
But she used to be very vocal about her dislike of bananas, so I thought everyone knew about it.
The pic with the banana is priceless! I miss you guys!
That shot with the bananas is just the best! You captured her at just the right moment.
I knew it was a joke, I just didn't know Aunt Debbie hated bananas so much. I was curious if there was a story behind her dislike of the nanner.
We go through bananas at a ridiculous pace.
what a cute pic.
laundry now goes to a whole other level - as i'm sure you are aware.
So cute! She has the best faces. She might even be able to touch her nose too!
The banana hating could be genetic. David's sister refuses to eat them as well.
