Our stroller: MVP of the Florida trip

We couldn't decide whether to bring the umbrella or the double, and I am eternally grateful to our friend Alisha, who gave us a ride to the airport and suggested the double in case we needed to lay Ida down while at the beach. Don't know why I didn't think of that, but it was a genius suggestion. We used our stroller a TON on this vacation. We ended up getting a very old, very used, discontinued e3 a few months ago. (The link is to the Sport, but it's almost the same.) I was skeptical and had a beefier double jogger in mind, but due to lack of storage space and a good deal on Craigslist I went for it. I'd say we got our money's worth just on this trip.

By the way, this is probably the only time you'll ever see Baby Ida sleeping like this. She always, always has her arms swaddled. So on a hot day like this I swaddled her to get her to fall asleep and then unswaddled her a few minutes later. How did I get this swaddle-obsessed baby who wants to be so cozy on an 80-degree day? I don't know.

I always had a stroller that could double as a bed - and I was always grateful that I did.

It always works out that way. Every time I think something is going to be sort of a hassle...it usually turns out great! Sterling is always the voice of reason as to what we should bring on trips!!!

Alexandra: Totally! It's one of my favorite things about babies! I forgot how much I had missed that, since Ida's arms are always swaddled away out of sight.

Glad to be of service. I'm just glad you're not posting how you regretted taking that stroller at my suggestion.

Now, can you tell me which stroller I should take to Moab?
