I have a lot of pictures of the kids on Theo's bed. I guess we hang out there a lot. Well, I know we do--especially after naps. It's cozy and we're all tired.

Poor Theo was under the weather this weekend. No barfing (despite his best attempts during ibuprofen administration) but lots of pale weakness during the day and feverish sadness at night. I hope it's over soon . . . and that no one else gets it. I'll go through an entire bottle of hand soap if I have to. Oh and I guess we'd better stop hanging out on that germ factory of a bed and wash the sheets. Particularly in the winter, I feel that washing the sheets once a week isn't enough. I don't
actually wash them more than once a week except in emergency situations, but I feel that I
should. And when we are sick, forget about it, I want to burn everything and start over. I don't know when I got this way.

I think we feel that way so that we can feel some sense of control.
Because it goes against our grain to feel held hostage by such a tiny, but powerful enemy!
Be well!!
sometimes washing the pillowcases will suffice - i get rather germaphobic at times as well - being sick is such a pain.
I want to squeeze Ida's head!
