Not only does this picture look nothing like Ida to me--weird mouth! aaaahhh!--she also does not have the frightening glow in her eyes most days (although I often do).
On a related and possibly equally scary note, I decided recently, as I made, served, and ate dinner and cleaned everything up completely one-handed, that if I ever lose a hand or arm, I am totally set. I mean I could totally do it. This child, who loves to be close to anything breathing, has taught me that I can do anything with one arm. Side note, is it TMI to tell you that in the past few months it has not been unheard of for me to lift Theo into and out of his high chair while simultaneously nursing Ida? Probably! I'm sure the idea made Hannah shudder a little. But at any rate situations like these are clearly a result of poor planning but that's why he eats his meals at a toddler table now and my back thanks him for it.
Back to the amputee thought, of course I would be in some trouble if I lost a hand or arm while in my childbearing years. It would be hard to carry around a baby and do everything else with literally only one arm.

always learning new skills, always progressing.
I am amazed at what I can do while nursing! It is a bit harder now that Sterling is getting bigger!
I tried to edit out the "red eye" but it wouldn't work.
It has some charm anyway!!
