Sometimes I wish I'd known him in high school, but then I remember how when he was graduating from high school, I was graduating from Primary. When he was getting his driver's license, I was making a motorhome for my Barbies out of an apple box. Et cetera. We wouldn't have hit it off.
All joking aside, he is the best man I know. And now he's 6 years older than me (until April; then it will be 5 again).

For the record, Eliza's math is way off. She was 13, and graduating 8th grade, and out of Primary long before!

I was thinking that Matt graduated in 1995, which is when Phoebe graduated, who is a month older than Matt, and anyway, I graduated from Primary in April of 1995. So, an honest mistake.
Matt graduated in 1996.
And...for the record...when Matt got his driver's license in 1993 I was still definitely making Barbie dollhouses and Barbie cars out of cardboard boxes. I was a late bloomer.
Matt doesn't think so, but I still think it's cool that I snagged an Older Man. I was only 18 when we met...

Happy Birthday to Matt. Hilarious Post Eliza. He looks great in that picture. What year was that like.....95, whoa! I would have been right with you there on the barbie motor home. We're only as old or as young as we feel right?
PS.. Eliza, this is more a topic of actual conversation but I am commenting so maybe you can remind me and we can talk about it. How do you do the whole playlist thing? Is it easy, do you use your own songs or have to buy them from playlist.com? Anyway I need some blog tutor tips from you.
I always forget that I am only a month older than Matt. Weird. I guess I am just so mature that I forget-or maybe it's my 7 year old standing next to me.
I am hoping Matt got my AWESOME birthday card. I saved it just for him.

To answer your question, Ashley (but we can talk about it in real life too!) go to playlist.com and just start building a playlist. When you're done, it gives you instructions about posting it on your blog. At least, that's how I remember it.
Once you make one, I can open your blog and listen to your music all day. :)

Jeff and I are always six years apart. His birthday is the month before mine. We met when I was eighteen as well. Hmmm....
At the time people had a problem with it. Now no one really notices unless we tell them - or our kids spout our ages. They think that's funny right now.

Thinking about age difference is funny. My brother got married when he was 28 and he had to wait for his wife to grow up (they're 6 years apart). But a GA's wife asked him once why he wasn't married. Uhhh. In all this randomness, happy birthday to your husband whom I remember hearing about in Vienna.
