October

October (or autumn in general) is kind of melancholy sometimes...in a good way though, I think.

The music is somewhat melancholy too.

I remember being in Marin 12, burning an Apple Cider candle on the first day that it really felt like fall. I just cried and snuggled my denim comforter. I don't really know why. There is something reminicent about it, but what about people that live in places like Phoenix where it doesn't really get any more brown than it already is?

Side note, young Bono is one of my favorite sights to see. (I also enjoy the older, wiser Bono.)

I agree, Sarah, fall makes me feel pensive and reflective, sometimes in a "Nothing gold can stay" kind of way.

Wow - Bono, I must never have seen THAT look before. I can't decide if I prefer his new "glasses" look or this old "hair."

Good song selection, I had forgotten about that one.

I didn't know that's what this song was called, just that it came right after... whatever the last song is on the best of album.

And let me clarify, I didn't know because it was hidden.

Also, I'm really glad that I'm married to someone who likes U2 as much as I do. No, I'm glad that I'm married to someone who likes U2 at all, since there are a lot of haters out there. YUHAYTN? (Remember when we saw that license plate in Georgetown on that old car with hydraulics? Maybe not, but I have a picture of it to remind you. Digression.)

I definitely remember YUHAYTN. Who could forget?

Don't worry, it's 5 a.m. and I am awake and blogging. Not a big deal.
