Another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody

It's a pretty big day around these parts, in other words, the first BYU game and the first day of college football.

I love Matt, but I also love a little time to myself now and then. Remind me of that once football season really gets going...

It helps that Theo asked to go to bed at 7 tonight. (Meaning he stood by his crib and pointed in, so I put him in and he lay down and got comfy.) How did this happen? And does it mean he'll wake up at dawn? No idea, but I am in for a lovely night of...whatever I want.

Neither Dad nor Noah seems to show much interest in football - BYU or otherwise - so I wasn't even aware.

Hope you enjoyed your evening.

We've got Harry and Dawn's kids, so we've stayed occupied!

Isn't it the best feeling in the world when your kid knows he is tired and wants to go to bed? You know you've really trained him well for a successful sleep future.

It's the same in my home. Doug will be glued to football all day Saturday. (And Monday, and Thursday...) And he doesn't even care what team is playing, as long as it's football (and as long as the right teams loose so the Utes can go up in the rankings-GO UTES!). Let me know when you want to escape the football and we'll get out!
