A month or two ago I posted about my love for (obsession with?) Berry Blossom Teen Spirit and my inability to find it. In no time at all, on two separate occasions, both Ashley and Ie Li presented me with my very own new stash of it--found at Wal-Mart and Wegman's if you wondered. And not a moment too soon, I might add. Now those are what I call good friends!
Then this very week, as you may recall, I posted about my love for (obsession with?) chocolate butter eggs and the utter dearth of them around here. It was certainly unexpected but certainly not out of the ordinary, considering the giver, when yesterday afternoon I received a special delivery from across the land, courtesy of Babs, containing not one but TWO boxes of See's chocolate butter eggs! Now that is what I call a good mom!
Now I am not trying to say that you have to grant my wishes in order to be in my favor. Far from it. I am only saying that I feel very, very loved, and also that I have never had a pony but I definitely like ponies. Ummm . . . on a more sensible note, it would be nice for my neighbors to quit smoking. And maybe for a personal chef to live in my house and cook my meals. Okay . . . go.

I'll get some Nicorette right on over.
Can't do much for the chef.
Glad the eggs got there - and in relatively good shape I hope. Although they'd probably taste just the same regardless of their "shape."
I was delighted to have something fun to do for you, but while at See's, I discovered that it's pretty simple to order them online - at least around Eastertime.
You might want to note that for next year - I'd be happy to send them again, but I could easily forget without a blog post to spur me on.
And I thought Matt was your personal chef??
I planned to order them online, but just got sidetracked. I'm bad enough with holiday planning as it is, but Easter is especially bad because it's always on a different day and always sneaks up on me. This year was especially early.
The eggs are in pristine shape, a few of the sugar flowers crumbled off but the chocolate is quite intact!
I know. Easter came so fast this year--I was still eating my Sees "Irish potato." Do you like those? They have cocoa "dirt" on them!
One pony coming right up. HA! Maybe we could just go find some sometime and look at them. Would that fulfill the need?
