What is "Little Cabin in the Woods"?

Little cabin in the woods, little man by the window stood, saw a rabbit hopping by, knocking at the door. "Help me! Help me! Help!" he said. "Or the hunter will shoot me dead!" "Come little rabbit, come with me. Happy we will be."

And... here's the music for it.

Theo seriously loves Little Cabin in the Woods. When I was a nursery leader, nursery kids loved it too. (In fact I think I first learned it in nursery myself.) Maybe a little gruesome with the hunter wanting to shoot the rabbit dead. Actually to be even more gruesome, when I got older I wondered if the little man by the window was going to shoot the rabbit dead too.

He really loves any songs or rhymes that have hand motions to go with them. I need to find more.

Just to clarify, by learning in nursery I mean I think I learned it when I was a 2-year-old in nursery.
