In honor of the impending autumnal season (which happens to be my favorite . . . mmm . . . pumpkins, candles, sweaters), I am in the process of adjusting this blog's template. At the moment all I have time for is changing the background color from pink to orange, so the header image and such will have to wait.Also, 4 years ago today Matt asked me to marry him.

mmmm - every fall i wish i lived where the fall was actually a season.
i don't miss it in the winter (only for about a week at christmas time) or the spring or the summer.
maybe i'll go buy some new pencils and sharpen them in honor of the impending season.

Autumn is also my favorite season, but we don't get much of one here. Every once in a while it surprises us, and actually cools off a bit. Such a cute picture of Theo. Also, happy engagement anniversary.
In Omaha, all year we look forward to visiting The Pumpkin Patch. It's a blue grass version of Disneyland - candied apples, candied corn, pig races, miniature halloween villages, carriage rides, haunted houses, and of course a ginormous pumpkin patch (that makes a great photo shoot with kids) How I crave fall when the summer heat gets a bit unbearable. Dave says he can smell autumn in the air.
