I know I said I was going to be gone. And I am...I am so gone. But T finally fell asleep and I'm the only awake person at my mom's house.
So I saw this and wanted to blog it.
Because...it is sad and seems like something out of a novel.
Doesn't the whole imports scandal thing kinda just make you want to live off the land?

I read that today too. Sad. I wonder if he also worried about the anger of the Chinese govt. This is a country that at times recently has given the death penalty for copyright violations.

I am so sad that I am going to be out of town while you are here! cruel world.
we have been trying to be careful about our plastics.
i tossed most of our plastic food storage containers and now use glass (made in italy) - and i've purged most of our suspect toys.
we still have a few toys made in china, (american girl, etc) but i don't worry so much, esp since we don't have babies that mouth everything.
i also got fabric lunch boxes and fabric sandwich bags - hopefully they'll be safe.
it is sad - and i wonder how all of this will play out.
