IKEA hacker hacker

I like this idea of decoupaging a simple graphic onto cheap furniture; saw it on Ikea Hacker.

I'm not sure if I will ever try it myself but I thought it was cute. It might also be interesting with a different piece of furniture or maybe a different area, like a table top or the smooth wall of a nook.

Statistically improbable phrases in this post: "smooth wall of a nook"

Now I know just what to do with the smooth wall of my nook. Hmm. That sounds just a tad obscene.

You truly have a compulsion with decoupaging and hodgepaging don't you? I am way into decorating wood to spiff it up a bit. You could make a really cute toy box with this idea, laundry hamper, or book case. Is this the carpet in the Ikea catalog? If that's in them I'm out.

I just really like Mod Podge okay.

True, a toy box is a good idea. Hmmmm...

The picture is from someone else's blog. I don't believe Ikea has this particular brand of lovely blah-brown carpet in stock right now!
