Sometimes I think I know how Theo feels.
Just this morning, after we dropped Matt off at the metro, I was settling myself down for a long winter's nap (being 98% sure that T would be asleep for at least another hour and a half) when I found myself tossing and turning. What was the problem? I have gotten terrible sleep the past few nights (hello, growth spurt...I mean really. Every 3 hours, Theo? Is this necessary? Is it January again?)--this should be a piece of cake!
Then I remembered it had been hours! since I had eaten last. I hadn't had breakfast yet. I thought perhaps I would just will myself to sleep and grab a snack when we both woke up. I tossed for another 10 minutes before realizing it wasn't going to happen. I wished Matt were home so that I could call out to him, "Darling, could you please bring me a piece of toast or something so that I can fall back asleep and not have to get out of my warm bed?" This is along the same lines of what Theo does when he is sleepy and hungry.
Obviously nobody was coming to my rescue, so I got up and finished off the last box of Cheerios. And decided to tell you about it.
Good night.

I thought that knowing how Theo feels would have something to do with the giant Bonny hand smothering his mouth.
You know, Bonny, you don't have to take that.
