I Have Become a Little Bit Addicted to Sherbet Floats.

The sherbet float, a favorite of yore, has resurfaced in my tasty-treat repertoire. Or repertory. Or, raspbertory.

(As many scoops of sherbet [I prefer rainbow or raspberry] as needed to fill glass of choice)

+

(Lemon-lime soda of choice [I prefer Sierra Mist] to fill in the cracks)

+

(Just enough time to let it mush, in other words approximately 2 seconds)

It's tasty, mind you. Tasty and Frosty.

For best results, consume daily.

What's in your repertoire?

There a far too many tasty treats in my repetoire! Lately I've had a penchant for Hershey Kisses munched with graham crackers - kind of a faux s'mores!

I like Snickers with a Caffiene Free Diet Pepsi. Except I got scared of how much weight I could gain if I got too addicted to those. Thoughts of when I was pregnant with McKay and how much weight I gained ran through my head. I have changed it to Malt-o-Meal for my snack now believe it or not. It's A LOT healthier. -Amy

Lindt milk chocolate truffle balls at a little warmer than room temperature - they ooze in your mouth and make you feel good all over!

Nate thinks that they are best chilled however.

Another cool and much healthier treat: frozen canteloupe, honeydew and watermelon balls in a glass with sprite poured over them. Let them thaw a bit and enjoy. I think that grapes would be good in that too and perhaps pineapple. My Mom and Dad used to give us the melon balls in Sprite during the winter. That was back when you could only get fruits in their season. Now, it's always fruit season somewhere!!

Either Italian Sodas( ie Pellegrino and yummy Toranti syrup) or Dad's chocolate malts.

As far as healthier things go, I love Triscuits with string cheese for an afternoon snack. A little protein, a little crunch. A recent favorite is the Garden Herb variety (of Triscuits, not cheese).

And...I also like all of that other stuff you guys said.

And re: the melon with Sprite, that's a good idea. Lynnette (my MIL) makes a fabulous slush of...from what I can recall...blueberries, raspberries, pineapple, crushed ice, white grape juice, maybe Sprite. Anyway it's fantastic and she brings it to all the family functions. I love slushy stuff. Slurpees, shakes, floats, Sno-Cones, even just plain crushed ice. Yum.
