3 items of business--in no particular order. ;-D

1) I am no longer sick!

This does not necessarily mean that I am prepared for the inevitable Backbone Relay. But it is newsworthy, because I've stopped downing so many Hall's Mentho-Lyptus lozenges; I'm done with NyQuil (ugh); and I no longer fill up my bedside trash can every night with Kleenex.

2) Bajio alert!

The great Bajio has branched out a LOT since Matt and I discovered it all those years ago. (Really...we started going there like in 2002. I SWEAR...okay, early 2003) Finally there's a Bajio in Salt Lake (Sugarhouse), so we don't have to drive 40 miles to get our Bajio fix. Although before the Sugarhouse one opened we discovered there was a Draper one too, so that wouldn't have been too bad of a drive either. Sure, the 2 franchises I've been to besides Provo (St. George and Sugarhouse) aren't nearly as good as the original Provo. They just aren't. But they're still Bajio, and they still have the chicken green chile salad. I don't want to see any comments from haters, BTW. Cafe Rio with its long lines and stingy portions has nothing on the Bajio.

3) Hester is engaged!

My best cousin Hester, that is. Maybe it's over-stepping my blog boundaries to announce this, because she does have her own blog after all, but I got the official word that I'm officially allowed to tell people now. So, when she finally blog-nounces it, I'll link to that. But it's been hard enough for me to keep my mouth shut, so it's out there. Three cheers for the Hes....ster. ;-D I love those clever little "emoticons," don't you?

Now back to my paper that's due in 1.75 hours. Grrr
