One last "note"...tee hee

I'm trying (sort of) to finish up my homework for tonight. It's not technically due until 1 a.m., so I'm having a hard time "getting a move on," as Barb & Harry say.

I just wanted to mention that I can't stop listening to "World on Fire" by Sarah McLachlan and "Heart of Glass" by Blondie. I'm not sure why. I just like to turn those songs up and let the music invade my soul.

hahahaha. I think that music Web quest did something to my brain. I swear, I'll taper off with the music-related blogs. Especially since my spring break starts tomorrow and I'll be a school-free woman for 2 weeks--in other words, I'll have a life outside of my computer and iTunes. Hopefully. Maybe I'm giving myself too much credit here.

Enjoy your break - ours is so far away - oh well, we'll be happy to have the time off whenever it comes! Lots of festivities around here - Emily's shower, Steven's farewell - a looong Sunday - but satisfying.

Speaking of iGoodness... I would really like an iPod shuffle. Actually, an actual iPod would be nice, BUT... I'd use it for running anyway, and those nice little armbands that you can put 'em on are SO NICE, don't you agree? Plus, it's a gig of music, which is more than enough for a run. And $99 is just more appealing than $299.

And they're so cute and skinny.

Once again I haven't a clue what you're talking about - I only recently learned what iPods are. And I'm still not really clear. Oh well, at least I don't want one! Off to get ready for the annual Ides of March celebration.

Mom, iPods are little tiny portable MP3 players (MP3=a type of music file) that you can listen to wherever you go, with headphones. They have a re-chargeable battery, and you can also plug them into your car using an adapter and listen to the music on them with your car stereo speakers. They're nice because you can store lots and lots of songs on them, and they're small, so it's not like carrying a bulky Walkman or Discman around. They're also kind of expensive, except for the iPod Shuffle, which aren't as fancy, but they're a lot cheaper.

Happy Ides of March! Enjoy the festivities. Wish I were there.
