Irresistible

Okay, so I obviously COULD NOT resist doing this (borrowed from Hannah) before finishing my Literary Spy paper. But hey, I did write the paper too. (Once I finished this list.) You should all check out The Literary Spy; it's quite interesting. And if Booklist takes my review, then hey, you can read that too!

Eliza's Life: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
(except not really, because this is all off the top of my head, and were I to put some serious research into it, I could probably come up with a better--and shorter--list. This one would obviously have to be a 2-disc set, and those don't sell as well.)

First date:
I Have a Date – The Vandals

First kiss:

We Are in Love - Harry Connick, Jr.

Heartbreak:
Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want – The Smiths

Getting ready to go out:
Waiting for Tonight – J-Lo

Partying with friends:

Tropicalia – Beck
Float On – Modest Mouse

Dancing at a club:
Everybody Dance Now – C+C Music Factory
I Will Follow – U2

Flirting:
Hey Baby – No Doubt

Feeling sexy:
God Put a Smile Upon Your Face – Coldplay

Walking alone in the rain:
Bad – U2
You Don’t Know Me – Ray Charles

Missing someone:
Warning Sign – Coldplay;
You Were Always on My Mind – Willie Nelson

Summer vacation:
Summer Girls – LFO (they’re just so Lyte & Funky!)
Hot in Herre – Nelly
Pushover - Etta James

Fighting with someone:
One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces – Ben Folds Five

Acting goofy with friends:
Doo Wop (That Thing) – Lauryn Hill
Sometimes – Britney Spears

Thinking back:
Cool – Gwen Stefani
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – Elton John

Feeling depressed:

Falling asleep:

Closing song:

Yikes, that was long.
