Theo stayed home from school yesterday because he was tired from our trip. I was a little nervous, but he ended up having a great day at home, and it was so nice to spend some chill time with him one-on-one. (Polly was home too but she was mostly playing with a sticker book and watching Sofia the First.) He struggles a lot, and I’m constantly reminding myself that our life is harder for him than it is for me. He helps us to learn patience and helps us to laugh and helps us to appreciate “the little things” which in the end are really the big things.
I am grateful for Theo too - I have so many good memories of time spent with him - and I am grateful that he likes to be with us - especially at winning Dodger games - maybe we needed him here last week!!
