Weeell, summer got off to a bit of a rocky start I-don't-want-to-talk-about-it BUT! Tomorrow is the first day of a brand-new week. In fact it's the first full week of summer for us, since our first week was in the OBX and our second week was short bc of Independence Day. Actually this week is sort of a fake week too, because Theo has Cub Scout day camp and Ida and Lars have Vacation Bible School. May the good Lord bless the inventors of Vacation Bible School.
So, for three hours a day it will just be me and Polly. Party up in here!

Hi Eliza.... Rachael from the days of Vienna.... Coming to your blog via Sarah's. And I add an "amen" to your thoughts on VBS. The serious goodness and fun from my girls VBS week is still permeating our summer and the lyrics of "remarkably made" still get sung often by my 5 year old.

I love that VBS is so big out there! I tried taking Madeline one year with her friend and it was waaaaay too much for her, but she was only four. I'd totally try again if I lived back here, though. And I love how you take fuzzy pictures that are still cool.
