For a month or so I was feeling pretty good about the diagnosis of Lars's dairy sensitivity. Then...slowly he got fussy again. Just a little bit here and there, enough to make me wonder if it was something else now (soy? peanuts? chocolate?), or if dairy was never the problem in the first place...?
The dairy doubt was thusly planted. Then, one evening during dinner a couple of weeks ago I accidentally ate a butter-tainted piece of naan (and upon discovering this, decided, "Well since I got my feet wet anyway, I'll just eat this rich buttery cookie too"). He was fussy here and there for a few days, but really not bad. I thought maybe I could in fact cheat now and then...you know, just in emergencies.
Then, last Friday evening I needed food fast. The pizza the kids were eating looked so good. And I did it. I purposely ate a slice of pizza with TONS of cheese on it. Four days later, you might ask me if it was worth it.
The answer is no. It was really not worth it. Sorry, buddy.

Fussiness is related to so many factors - he'll be grown and out of the fussy stage when you figure it out!
Such a sad face.
Also, I agree with your mom's comment.
but how does he look so old?
When I started reading I was so hopeful that you discovered dairy was NOT the culprit. In fact, I was planning a stop to your place with a giant tub of icecream...until I read on. Sorry man. Sorry.
Oh I just want to meet and hug this little guy.
Also, thanks for introducing us to Naan from Trader Joes. So great.
