The best part, or maybe worst part, is that while I always expected that Theo or Ida would break them--because they were both obsessed with them and constantly stole them out of my bag--it wasn't them. I was the one who broke them. I was wearing them while driving and I reached up to adjust one side--snap! Not a clean snap either and not fixable. Luckily I had my Fake Ray Bans backup stowed in the car.
That is what I get for wearing $5 sunglasses from Forever 21, but you know what, expensive sunglasses break too.
What's also funny is that when I first bought these, I kind of hated them. I liked them OK in the store and then quickly realized they made me look like a bug. But, being incredibly comfortable, they slowly grew on me and soon I liked looking like a bug.
I am a sunglass junkie and I must have them on at all times when outside during the day, especially while driving, even on cloudy days. I have the Fake Ray Bans backup but they are crooked and I don't really like them anyway. I need some new ones. Maybe some real Ray Bans. No, I am sticking to the $5 kind. Where do you buy your sunglasses?

I am a believe in cheap sunglasses too. Usually end up getting them at target.
I have a favorite pair that the screws fell out of. I keep holding on to them hoping I'll remember to take them in to get fixed. Even debating having them turned into prescription sunglasses. Is that too cheap? They are my fave pair though.
i was always a sunglasses junkie - then had to have prescription glasses, so got some prescription sunglasses too - and I've tried all kinds - they seem so "dark" - which is probably good for my eyes. Right now I have the kind that go dark outside and then light inside and I really don't like them much - but it beats having to dig out your expensive, prescription sunglasses all the time.
i b ought some at target for 15 bucks, not 5, but they are polarized so they actually protect your eyes. as lomg as you dont demand cutenes . . . they are cute emough for me. sunglasses are disposable, in my opinion.
A sad day indeed. I've found good cheap ones (like $7-10 range) at Nordstrom in the junior's section and Forever 21 and my current pair is from H&M. I recommend.
I do demand cuteness, but I should probably worry more about my eyes.
Always Target. But the again, I buy 95% of all of our stuff at Target. I am not convinced that I should try to branch out.
Sunglasses from target are the best. the right eye protection and the right style for the right price.
I think you should count yourself lucky that you can buy $5 sunglasses whenever you feel the urge to join the fashion squad. Can you tell that I really dislike having prescription sunglasses. I feel like I'm committed for life. Really, I am just too cheap.
Eliza, I have to say you make anything look stylish. I attempted to wear sunglasses once, felt self-conscious, lost them, and took that as a sign. So i envy that gift you have!
